The First Step is the Most Important

Hello blogging world! This is my second attempt at blogging and I'm ready to bare it all with my readers. (Get it? My last name is Barrett and sounds like 'bare it'! =) The last time I tried to blog I actually paid over $500 for the domain, wrote 6 times and let it fall to the wayside.  Most expensive posts that only my husband and a few friends read. Lesson learned. So here I am in a free platform ready to share this life journey with the world.

I am a wife of two years to my amazing husband, Kyle and we have one beautiful daughter, Lilliann Jolene. She is my heart and soul and the reason/motivation behind where I am at today in my life.

Right now I am a full time working momma! I am a Sales Manager/Wedding Specialist at a hotel in downtown Kansas City, a 200hr Certified Yoga Teacher and I am also an Independent Distributor with It Works! Global. I am busy, but love this life I have been so blessed by God to be living. I enjoy helping and connecting with people in any way possible and if this blog can help motivate, inspire or connect with a single person then my goal is complete =) I love my family, God, cooking, DIY crafts, yoga, music, reading, helping my daughter learn/grow and in general just LOVE being a wife and mom.
